Easily export volunteer data to suit your reporting needs. These features help you produce accurate hours reports, monitor engagement, recognize contributions and ensure that all shifts and events are properly staffed and recorded.
Your organization has a unique approach to your data collection, and VolunteerLocal understands that. Whether you prefer full administrative control or volunteer control or something in between, our platform lets you gather data in a way that makes you happy.
Self check in/out
The most “hands off” for administrators, this method lets the volunteer check in and out from shifts from their web browser or mobile app profile with one click.
Volunteer-scanned QR code
This method requires the volunteer to scan a QR code that is provided at the event or program. A volunteer walks up and scans the QR code with their device, they are prompted to identify themselves, and then they can check in.
Administrator-scanned QR code
This method displays a QR code on the volunteer’s device, such as in the form of a mobile ticket for an event, which is scanned to record the check-in. The person scanning QR codes does not need to be an administrative user.
Kiosk
A kiosk is volunteer-facing tool that runs on any device. It supports a search function as well as a roster function. Kiosks can also be used for walk-up volunteers and to track visitors.
Check-in screen
This method allows only logged-in users (administrators) to control and capture volunteer check-in and check-out, and features a full search capability and several filtering options.
